WB NEET PG 2025: Rs 5 lakh bond penalty; 3-year mandatory service for open category

Download nowThe Directorate of Medical Education West Bengal has published the West Bengal NEET PG counselling 2025 brochure. As per the WB NEET PG 2025 bond policy, those who want to discontinue their course before completion or after admission will have to pay a penalty of Rs 5 lakh and serve for 3 years after course completion.
In addition, candidates opting for PG diploma seats in the state will have to pay Rs 2 lakh as a bond penalty.
After the completion of the NEET PG course, open category candidates will have to serve 3-year and 2-year bond period for diploma students. However, there is no discontinuity bond for DNB courses at present in West Bengal. DNB post-diploma 2-year degree seats are not part of this NEET PG counseling.
Furthermore, opting for service after completion of the PG course is applicable for open category admitted candidates.
Candidates will have to submit a bond during admission with respect to discontinuation and indemnity to the concerned college in non-judicial stamp paper with additional demy paper if required of not less than Rs 100.

WB NEET PG Counselling 2025 under NRI quota
DME West Bengal has advised candidates to remain cautious while choosing the NRI category. If a candidate is allotted an NRI seat, their documents will be physically verified.
However, Insufficient, inadequate, or invalid documents will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
Once canceled, the candidate will be out of the counseling process and cannot reapply under a different category. Candidates who opt for the NRI quota cannot opt for the state or management quota counselling process.
As per the West Bengal NEET PG counselling 2025 schedule, candidates can apply for round 1 admission from November 6 onwards. The WB NEET PG 2025 round 1 allotment results will be announced on November 17. DME has announced the WB NEET PG counselling 2025 schedule for all four rounds of MD and MS admissions.
