NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency is going to conduct JEE Main April 2020 session from September 1 to 6 at 660 exam centres. A total of 8,58,273 candidates have registered and are supposed to appear in the April session of JEE Main 2020. As the exam is being conducted amid the COVID-19 pandemic, thus students will need to dress up as per the instructions of NTA officials and also in a way to avoid spreading the coronavirus infection. Thus, Careers360 brings in the instructions related to JEE Main dress code to be followed by the aspirants for appearing in the exam.
JEE Main 2020 Dress Code
It is very clear that NTA has not specified any particular JEE Main dress code to be followed while appearing for the exam. However, candidates should in general make sure to follow the following instructions when it comes to the dress code for JEE Main.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any metallic objects in the examination hall. So, there should not be any metal part in the dress worn as well.

They should avoid wearing any piece of jewelry, watch, or any other gadgets/ ornaments

Face masks are a must these days while stepping out of the house due to the pandemic. However, the authorities shall also provide another mask to be worn during JEE Main April session.

In order to avoid touching any unwanted surface with their skin, candidates are advised to wear clothes which help them completely cover their arms and legs.

Students are not allowed to cover their head or faces during JEE Main 2020 examination.

Clothes with noticeably large buttons, brooches, etc. should be avoided for the exam.
Things to be carried in the exam hall:
The candidates appearing for the upcoming session of JEE Main will have to carry the following stuff in the exam hall:

JEE Main 2020 admit card

Passport size photograph (same as that on the admit card)

Government issued photo identity proof

Hand sanitizer (max 50ml)

Face mask

Hand gloves
-
Transparent water bottle
