XAT 2019 candidates can request for test city change until November 30

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 14: XLRI Jamshedpur, the exam conducting body for XAT 2019, has released a notification announcing the facility to request for changing the test city preference . Registered candidates who had entered the wrong city or wish to change the city of taking XAT 2019 exam in the application form, can avail this service to amend the same. The facility to change the exam city proffered by XLRI is available until November 30, 2018.
In order to change the XAT city test preference, candidates have to send an email to admis@xlri.ac.in . They have to mention the following details in the same email:
1. XAT ID
2. Date of Birth
3. Father’s Name
4. Previously chosen city
5. New preferred city where they wish to take the XAT 2019 exam.
It must be noted that the new test city chosen should be amongst the ones already listed by XLRI . Check the list of available test cities here – XAT Exam Test Centres 2019 .
Applicants can only avail this facility of changing test city once. Also, no requests to change the exam centre or city will be entertained after November 30, 2018. The final decision to allocate the test city to each candidate rests with the exam conducting body. Notably, applicants will not be charged any fee to request the change in XAT test city preference.
Xavier Aptitude Test 2019 will be conducted across 46 test cities across India. Unlike last year, there are no XAT exam centres located outside India. Candidates will get to know about their allotted exam centre through XAT 2019 admit card , which will be released on December 20, 2018. The same can be downloaded from the official website as soon as it is available. The XAT 2019 registration commenced on August 20 and will continue until November 30, 2018.
XAT 2019 is expected to see a test-taker pool of about 90,000. The online exam of three hours will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019. The result of XAT 2019 is likely to be declared in the fourth week of January 2019 after which the scores will be used for admission in more than 150 XAT participating B-schools in India.
