XAT 2019 Official Answer Key Released; File objections till January 14, 3 pm

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 12: XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT answer key and response sheet for candidates who had appeared for XAT 2019 on January 6, 2019. Candidates can view their individual responses along with the right answers in the response sheet, which is available on xatonline.in. In order to check the XAT 2019 Response Sheet, candidates have to use their XAT registration number and password and login. The HTM file can be viewed in the browser and will contain the XAT Question Paper, Question ID, correct answers, status (if answered or not) and the response chosen by the candidate. XLRI has also proffered the facility to challenge the key until January 14, 2019.

How to check the XAT 2019 Answer Key

 

• To access the XAT answer key and response sheet, candidates are required to visit the official website of XAT, i.e. xatonline. in and then click on Login button.

• After entering the login credentials, press the Login button.

• Click on the ‘Candidate Response Sheet’ tab on the Dashboard.
• Next, click on the link ‘here’ to generate the answer key and question paper file.

 

The file will be available in html format. Candidates can view the question paper of XAT and all the correct answers marked by them in the exam.

XAT 2019 Question Paper, Answer Key & Objection Form: Key Highlights

• Candidates can view the question paper and answer key by entering their XAT user ID and password.

• The deadline to submit objections for XAT 2019 Question Paper and Answer Key is 3 pm on January 14, 2019.

• The answers marked in green on the HTML sheet are the actual correct answers to the questions. Also check your response mentioned after question ID.

• In case you find any discrepancy in the answer or want to challenge the official key, send your objections to admis@xlri.ac.in

• While raising the objection, candidates must mention the following details-

a. XAT ID

b. Full Name

c. Question ID

d. Mention the objection you have on the particular question and response

e. Enclose the evidence for the objection

f. Mention the subject line of the email as <XAT ID> Objection <Question ID>

• The XAT answer key can be challenged at no extra charge, unlike the CAT answer key which had an objection fee of Rs. 1000 per question.

• In case the objections are found valid by XAT expert panel, remedial measures will be taken by XLRI for all the candidates and not just for those candidates who raised objections to those questions.

• Candidates can raise objections against as many questions as they want before the deadline, i.e. January 14, 2019, by 3 PM.

XAT 2019 answer key is provided to make the test process completely transparent and to strengthen its credibility. Also, it will allow the test takers to estimate their score so they can plan admission in a suitable B-School.

XAT 2019 was a computer-based test (online) of 180 minutes duration. The exam comprised of four sections, namely VA & LR, DM, QA & DI, and GK. Each question carries 1 mark and for each wrong answer, 1/4th of the total marks allotted to a question will be deducted. There was negative marking of 0.1 marks also involved for unattempted questions as well, beyond eight.

The result of XAT 2019 will be declared on January 31, 2019. The result will be available for download on the official website of the exam. Around 75,000 candidates are expected to have appeared for the examination across 46 cities. As per the XAT 2019 Analysis, the overall difficulty level of the exam lied in the moderate to difficult range.
