XAT 2020 Answer Key released amidst confusion over marking scheme

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 9: XLRI Jamshedpur has released the answer key for XAT 2020 in online mode. Candidates are expressing their apprehension over the confusion that prevailed related to the marking scheme. Some of the students were not able to figure out if negative marking was there for all the questions due to which their performance was adversely affected. However, XAT authorities confirmed that there was negative marking for all the questions. Similar confusion over the marking scheme had prevailed in the XAT in 2018 also. Presently the authorities have not specified the date to challenge the answer key.

Steps to download XAT answer key 2020

Students must follow the steps mentioned below to download the answer key of XAT 2020

Step 1- Click on the link provided- Click Here

Step 2- Enter the login credentials such as the user ID and Password and then click on the ‘login’ tab

Step 3- A new page will open wherein the applicant details will be mentioned

Step 4- Click on ‘candidate response’ tab

Step 5- Now ‘click here’ to generate the question paper along with the answer key of XAT 2020.

Step 6- Answer key of XAT will be displayed on the screen.

Step 7- Download and verify the responses mentioned in the XAT 2020 answer key.

Advantages of XAT Answer Key

Candidates can calculate the estimated score for XAT 2020 before the declaration of result by using the answer key.

The score calculated should be on the basis of the marking scheme that was mentioned in the question paper.

What after XAT answer key?

The result of XAT 2020 will be declared anytime soon. Though the authorities have stated that the result will be announced on January 31. However if we go by past year’s trend then we see that the XAT result was announced on January 15.
