NEW DELHI: The Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur has revised the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2024 admit card date and will now issue the admit card on December 27. Students who registered for the exam will be able to download the XAT admit card 2024 from the official website, xatonline.in.

Earlier, the admit card was supposed to be issued tomorrow, December 20. Candidates will require their login credentials to download the admit card.

XAT 2024 will be conducted on January 7, 2024 from 2 pm to 5:30 pm for admission to management programmes offered by the participating institutes. The duration of the exam will be three hours and 30 minutes.

XAT 2024: What’s new this year

  • The exam authority has changed the exam timings from the morning session to afternoon session. The test will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm instead of 9:30 am to 12:40 pm.
  • There is an increase in the number of seats in XLRI.
  • The number of seats for Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Business Management (PGDM-BM) at XLRI Jamshedpur campus has increased from 180 to 240.
  • The number of seats for Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Business Management (PGDM-BM) at Delhi NCR campus has increased from 120 to 180.
  • XLRI Jamshedpur has launched a new programme, Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Creation (PGDM-IEV).

XAT 2024 registrations witnessed an increase of 40% as compared to last year. This year, a total of 1,35,000 candidates registered for the exam.

As per the XAT 2024 exam pattern, the question paper will include five sections – decision making, general knowledge, quantitative ability and data interpretation, analytical essay writing, and verbal and logical reasoning.
