XAT 2025: Night before exam

Experts have suggested the following measures for candidates to take the night before the exam to ensure they are fully prepared:

  • Get enough sleep: Avoid pulling an all-nighter and take a good seven to eight hours of sleep. This will help you stay alert and focused during the test.
  • Pack your belongings: Double-check your bag to ensure all essential items such as admit card, ID proof, and stationery, are packed and ready. This will save you from last-minute hassle on the morning of your exam.
  • Have a light meal: Avoid heavy, greasy, or spicy meals the night before the exam. Instead, go for a light, balanced meal that won’t disturb your sleep or leave you feeling uncomfortable.
  • Set multiple alarms: Ensure waking up on time on the day of the exam by setting at least two to three alarms.
  • Relax and unwind: Take some time to relax before going to bed. Read a book, listen to soothing music, or do a few breathing exercises. Avoid screens and any activities that may cause stress.
  • Be positive: Have a positive mindset to help reduce anxiety and improve your performance.
