XAT 2023 last-minute preparation tips

Here are some tips that can help candidates to prepare well for the XAT 2023 exam.

Solve XAT previous year papers and take mock test

Take ample XAT mock tests before appearing for the actual exam and analyze them well. This will help the students to understand the exam pattern, the kind of questions that are asked, and how to manage time. The more one solves XAT mock tests, the better one can perform on exam day.

Take the right approach

As part of last minute XAT preparation tips, candidates should devise an exam-taking strategy. They must know what type of questions they will attempt first in the exam and what type of questions they will take at the end. Students should have a clear test writing strategy in mind about which section to take first, what type of questions to answer, and when to move on to the other question during the exam.

Focus on revision

Another important last-minute XAT preparation tip is to focus on revision where the candidate should not cover every topic. Instead, focus on quickly revising the most important and relevant topics. Plus, picking up a new topic at this time isn't great! Learning new topics or new ways to solve questions can be confusing at the last minute.

Relax and unwind

In these last few days, XAT toppers suggest resting well so that one's mind is alert on exam day. So, sleep properly, eat good food, listen to music, go for a drive, etc. Just unwind and relax before the exam day as a relaxed mind works better than a stressed one.

Keep all documents in your bag

Candidates should carry documents like XAT admit card, photo identity proof, a disability certificate to avail of the clerical facility, and a self-declared medical form (if any) to the exam centre. They must collect these and keep them in the bag the night before the exam to ensure they don't miss carrying any important documents.
