NEW DELHI: Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur is all set to conduct the XAT exam 2023 tomorrow, January 8. In the wake of COVID - 19, the Xavier Aptitude Test, XAT will be held in Computer Based Test mode in various cities spread across India. Candidates appearing for the XLRI MBA entrance exam must carry the XAT admit card to the test centre for seeking entry and other verification purposes.

XAT exam timing is 2:00 PM to 5:10 PM but candidates need to reach the exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the test. Candidates should note that they will not be allowed entry if they reach the centre after reporting time. Here are some important do’s and don’ts for candidates to follow.
Carry with them one ballpoint pen, two hard copies of admit card, photo ID issued by govt and one passport-size photograph
Bring a face mask, personal hand sanitiser and drinking water
Make sure you have self-attested the self-declaration form before reaching the test centre
Get to the XAT exam centre before the reporting time given on the XAT admit card
Submit a copy of admit card and rough sheets to the invigilator
Don’t carry any stationary items ( except one ballpoint pen), mobile phones, pager, watch, iPad and calculator
Don’t carry any eatable items inside the exam hall
Don’t be late as entry will be closed at 1:50 PM
Don’t wear jewellery and heavy outfits
Don’t avoid frisking or identification procedures at the exam centre
The XAT 2023 question paper will be divided into 5 sections - Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General Knowledge and Essay. Each section will have a different number of questions.
There will be a total of 101 questions including the 25 questions from GK and 1 question on Essay. Each question (except the essay) will carry 1 mark. For every wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted. Marks in the Essay will be evaluated after the candidate is selected for the interview.
