NEW DELHI: Xavier School of Management (XLRI) held the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2025) for admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) courses. As per the overall XAT exam analysis 2025 , students rated the exam to be moderate to high. XAT 2025 LIVE
The institute has introduced a few changes in the XAT exam pattern 2025. The question paper has been divided into two parts - part 1 was allocated a duration of 170 minutes and paper 2, which solely focuses on the general knowledge section was given 10 minutes.
It has integrated the analytical essay writing (AEW) with the group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) rounds and removed it from the XAT exam. Moreover, the number of questions in the general knowledge section has been reduced from 25 to 20. A total of 12 questions in the GK section will be based on current affairs and 8 from static GK.
XAT score vs percentile
As per the XAT marking scheme, each correct answer will fetch one mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong response. “Additionally, every unattempted question following the first eight unattempted questions will incur a penalty of - 0.10 marks,” it added.
