NEW DELHI: The Bihar Public Services Commission (BPSC) Civil Services preliminary exam paper leak and followed cancellation left several Bihar students disappointed. BPSC candidates have started campaigning on Twitter with the hashtag #BPSC complaining of ‘corruption’ and saying that years of their hard work have been ruined.
While some candidates showed disappointment and anger over paper leaks and demanded leaders to resign, others demanded compensation and home centre after the cancellation of the exam.

The Bihar Public Services Commission cancelled the exam for Civil Services (preliminary) held on Sunday, hours after allegations of question paper “leak” led to a massive outcry. Screenshots of a set of question papers had gone viral on social media minutes before the exams commenced at noon.
A Twitter user said, “What would be more sad than that one after the other, the examinations are getting rigged due to corruption, unemployment is increasing. Playing with the future of education and youth has been happening for decades. Important issues are neither seen nor heard on the tongue of the people nor in any forum.”

An aspirant tweeted, “Home center is not given so that no one can do any kind of cheating, when paper leaks despite doing so, now give home center, because you are cool in office, but not a student, go and come And you can't even imagine how much pain you have to endure.”

Another aspirant asked Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar to resign and said, “The paper gets leaked at 12:00 in the day and the honorable Chief Minister gets to know at 8:00 in the night. Such leaders do not care about the future of the students. If there is little shame left then resign, good governance babu.”

A student said in a tweet, “One, the vacancy does not come out, if the vacancy comes out, then the exam is not on time, and if the exam is held then the paper leaks. The institutions of Bihar are factories to ruin the future of Bihari youth who have worked hard for years.”

“All the people of Bihar know that how a common family, poor family, family residing in a remote village keeps only one dream that their children should get good education from them, job. Even if the government, which has stopped the restoration for years and years, takes out the restoration, then the paper gets leaked,” said another BPSC aspirant.

“Time to hand over the authority of conducting state services to UPSC. State PSCs are totally unfit to conduct the exam in fair manner. Paper leaks, corruption, and re-exams. And aspirants spend years together for exam and in the end no jobs,” said a student.
