NEW DELHI: IAF is conducting the AFCAT 01/2021 in online mode from February 20, 2021, onwards. Today, it successfully conducted both shifts of the IAF AFCAT exam. The exam was conducted for both AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) exams, at various AFCAT exam centres across the country. Candidates who appeared in the AFCAT 2021 paper can check AFCAT 2021 expected cutoff and question paper difficulty level here. The exam will be conducted on February 22, 2021, as well. All AFCAT COVID-19 protocols as circulated by the state and central governments were followed at all the AFCAT examination centres across the country.

AFCAT 2021 exam analysis: Overview

  • AFCAT was conducted in computer-based test mode.

  • The total marks of the exam were 300.

  • The duration of the AFCAT CBT exam was of 120 minutes

  • The EKT exam was of 150 marks.

  • The duration of the AFCAT EKT exam was 45 minutes.

  • For each correct response, three marks will be awarded.

  • As a negative marking, one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

  • IAF will utilise the normalization method for AFCAT 2021 cutoff calculation.
