AIAPGET 2024 registration deadline tomorrow; exam on July 6

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the All-India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET 2024) tomorrow, May 14. Eligible candidates can fill out the AIAPGET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, aiapget.nta.nic.in.

The AIAPGET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on July 6. The NTA will open the AIAPGET 2024 application correction window for three days from May 17 to May 19. Candidates can download the AIAPGET 2024 admit card from July 2 through the official website.

Candidates from the general category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2,700 to register for the exam. For candidates falling under the economically weaker section (EWS), other backward class (OBC) categories should pay Rs 2,450. However, candidates from the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with disabilities (PwD) and transgender categories are required to pay Rs 1,800.

AIAPGET 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates should check the AIAPGET 2024 eligibility criteria given below.

  • Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), or Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) degree from a recognised institute.
  • AYUSH graduates should have completed or are expected to complete the 12-month compulsory rotatory internship on or before July 31, 2024.

The AIAPGET 2024 exam is conducted for admissions to the postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy at various institutes. The exam will have 120 multiple-choice questions carrying 480 marks in total. As per the marking scheme, candidates will get four marks for each correct response and one mark will be deducted for the wrong answers. No mark will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
