NEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced the All India Bar Examination - XVIII (AIBE 18) exam dates and schedule. The AIBE 18 registration 2023 has started at the official website, allindiabarexamination.com. The exam is held for awarding the Certificate of Practice (COP) for practicing law in an Indian court.

The AIBE 18 exam 2023 will be held on October 29 at various exam centres across the country. The online registration for the Bar examination will close on September 30.

The council has also increased the pass percentage from 40% to 45% for the general category candidates and Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) and PwD candidates will have to score 40% to clear the exam. Earlier, the qualifying percentage for reserved categories was 35%.

As per the exam pattern, candidates will have to answer 100 multiple-choice questions within a time duration of 3 hours 30 minutes. The answers have to be marked in the OMR sheet.
