Download NowNEW DELHI: Bar Council of India (BCI) will close the registration window for All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 19 examination on November 15. Candidates who applied for the examination can apply for AIBE 19 exam 2024 through the official website of BCI AIBE at allindiabarexamination.com. As per the schedule, the last date to pay the AIBE 19 exam 2024 is November 18, 2024.
The AIBE 19 admit card 2024 will be issued on December 15, 2024. Candidates will have to use their login credentials registration number and date of birth AIBE 19 admit card 2024.
BCI had recently postponed the AIBE 19 examination 2024. The examination that was scheduled for December 1, will now will be held on December 22, 2024, as per the revised notification shared by the BCI.
AIBE 19 Examination 2024: Eligibility
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have a three-year or five-year LLB degree from a recognized law school or university in India.
- Candidates who have completed their LLB degree through distance education or correspondence mode are also eligible, provided the program is recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Enrolment with State Bar Council:
- Candidates must be enrolled with a State Bar Council in India as a law graduate.
- It is mandatory for candidates to have registered themselves as advocates under the Advocates Act, 1961 before appearing for the exam.
No Minimum Percentage Requirement: There is no minimum percentage required in the LLB degree to appear for the AIBE exam, meaning even graduates with lower marks in law school can apply, as long as they meet the other eligibility conditions.
Candidates who clear the exam will be awarded a Certificate of Practice from the Bar Council of India, allowing them to practice law in Indian courts.
