NEW DELHI: Bar Council of India has conducted the AIBE XVI (16) on October 31, 2021, in offline mode. It will now release the answer key for all set codes of AIBE XVI (16) soon on its official website - allindabarexamination.com. To pass the AIBE XVI (16) 2021, candidates have to clear the minimum cut-offs set by the council.

The AIBE XVI (16) 2021 is a qualifying exam for law graduates in India. It sets the minimum benchmark for LLB graduates who want to practise law in the country. Therefore, all candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the examination are considered to have passed the AIBE. The minimum qualifying marks/cut-offs vary according to the category of the candidate. The details are as follows.

Factors affecting AIBE XVI (16) cut-offs

The minimum qualifying marks in terms of percentage will remain unchanged. However, if the BCI deletes some incorrect questions from the questions paper after receiving objections from the candidates, the minimum qualifying marks will change accordingly.

AIBE XVI (16) 2021 answer key

The council may release the answer key of AIBE XVI (16) 2021, in the first week of November. It will carry the answers to all the questions asked in the examination. By referring to the official AIBE answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their marks in the examination and thus, it will let them know about their qualification status.

The answer key may also have some discrepancies. Therefore, BCI would give the candidates an opportunity to raise their objections against the provisional key. An expert committee of BCI will review the objections raised by the candidates.

AIBE XVI (16) Result

The BCI will release the AIBE XVI (16) result after reviewing the candidate’s objections. The result will be declared in the form of qualification status (pass or fail). Candidates who pass the examination will be eligible for getting a Certificate of Practice (CoP). The BCI will send the CoP to all AIBE qualified candidates by post within a few weeks after the result declaration.
