AICTE to host a webinar on ‘revisiting management education in India’

NEW DELHI: The technical education regulator, All India Council for Technical Education, or AICTE, will host a webinar on revisiting management education in India on May 2, 2020.
The session will be chaired by Rajive Kumar, member secretary of AICTE from 4 PM to 6 PM.
“In this panel discussion, we bring together scholars to discuss how COVID-19 has created a new normal for the higher education sector, revolutionising the online learning landscape, reshaping application processes, and refreshing crisis management strategies,” said the announcement released by AICTE.
Speakers include B Bhattacharya, former dean of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Kamlesh Misra, Vice-Chancellor of Rishihood University, Raj Aggarwal, director of All India Management Association-Centre for Management Education, A.N. Bhattacharya, program chair, marketing at School of Inspired Learning, or SOIL and Vinnie Jauhari, PhD education director at Microsoft Corporation India.

Those who are interested to attend will be required to register at carvingtalent@gmail.com free of cost.
Various management institutes in India were massively affected due to the lockdown imposed to control the spread of coronavirus. Owing to logistical issues, scores of students could not join the crucial summer internship programs.
Even final placement offers were revokes at Indian Institutes of Management, or IIMs, due to the lockdown.
