AICTE Industry Fellowship 2025 accepting applications for 350 spots; to offer Rs 1 lakh monthly stipend

The fellowship will provide a monthly fellowship of Rs 75,000, while participating industries will contribute a minimum of Rs 25,000 per month. This will be in addition to the regular salary that the fellows will continue to receive from their institutions.
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will offer internships to 350 faculty members through its industry fellowship programme to bridge the gap between industry and academia. The application link is active for eligible candidates at AICTE’s official website on ifp.aicte.gov.in until October 15.
The AICTE Industry Fellowship Programme will offer faculty members the opportunity to work as full-time fellows in industry for a minimum period of one year for the academic year 2025-26.
The fellowship will provide a monthly stipend of Rs 75,000, while participating industries will contribute a minimum of Rs 25,000 per month. This will be in addition to the regular salary that the fellows will continue to receive from their institutions.
The selection process will begin from November 1 and will go on till November 15. The programme will begin on December 1, 2025.
The selected faculty members will gain experience in ‘cutting-edge’ sectors such as advanced materials, rare-earth, and critical minerals, semiconductors, space & defence, blue economy, sustainability & climate change, advanced computing (supercomputing, AI, quantum computing), next-gen communications, smart cities & mobility, aggrotech & food processing, including manny more.

AICTE Industry Fellowship Programme 2025: Eligibility, selection process
The AICTE Industry Fellowship Programme includes three stages of selection. Stage 1 will comprise of application evaluation, document verification. Stage 2 will have interview by industry, and the final or stage 3 selection process will be for final document verification by industry.
The final merit list will be based on combined performance in all stages. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates should not exceed more than 45 years of age, with a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution.
Notably, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in AICTE approved institutions. “Period of Doctoral and Post-Doctoral research period and on deputation period will not count for eligibility,” the official website reads.
The documents required to apply for the AICTE Industry Fellowship programme includes a recent passport-sized photograph (with format JPEG, max 100 KB), aadhaar card, pan Card, graduation or post graduation certificates and mark sheets, experience certificates for current and previous employment, No Objection Certificate(NOC) from parent Institute.
