NEW DELHI: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi) has announced the schedule for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-8. A total of 1,794 nursing officer vacancies will be filled in 23 institutes including AIIMS and other colleges.
The AIIMS NORCET-8 registration facility will remain open till March 17. Candidates will have to submit the NORCET application form by 5 pm on the last date to be considered for the recruitment. After reviewing the registrations, the status of the AIIMS NORCET application form will be displayed on March 25.
AIIMS New Delhi notified the overall category-wise NORCET-8 vacancies recently. As per the seat positions, AIIMS Patna has the highest number of 308 posts and Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences (CAPFIMS, Maidangarhi) has 300 posts vacant.
The recruitment exam for nursing officers will be held in two stages - NORCET stage 1 preliminary exam will be conducted on April 12 and the stage 2 computer-based test (CBT) will be administered on May 2 for the qualified candidates.
Candidates who have completed BSc Nursing or equivalent educational qualification from an Indian Nursing Council or any state nursing council recognised institute will be eligible to apply for the AIIMS recruitment exam. The complete AIIMS NORCET-8 exam schedule is given below.
