NORCET registration closes on March 16. JIPMER Karaikal has the highest vacancies of 383 nursing officer posts.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has opened the registrations for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET 10) for recruitment to nursing officer posts at Level 7 of the pay matrix pre-revised pay band-2 of Rs 9,300-34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,600, Group B.
As per the AIIMS NORCET 10 notification 2026, online application form is available on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. AIIMS NORCET preliminary exam will be conducted on April 11 and Mains exam on April 30 for shortlisted candidates.
The NORCET recruitment exam is held to fill 2,551 vacancies across campuses, with the highest number of 383 posts in JIPMER Karaikal, followed by 282 in AIIMS New Delhi, and over 200 in AIIMS Kalyani and AIIMS Gorakhpur.
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications: BSc (Hons) Nursing, BSc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC) or state-recognised institute or university; or post-basic BSc Nursing from a recognised institute; or Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from , INC or state-recognised institute, along with two years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital.
Applicants must be registered as a nurse and midwife with the state or INC. The age limit is 18 to 30 years as on the closing date of application, with relaxations applicable as per government norms.
Candidates belonging to the general and OBC category will have to pay Rs 3,000 and SC, ST, and EWS candidates should pay Rs 2,400 and people are exempted from paying a registration fee.
