AIIMS NORCET 2026 stage 1, 2 dates out; register for nursing officer recruitment exam from Feb 24

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi will conduct the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test 10 (NORCET 2026) prelims on April 11, while the mains exam is scheduled on April 30. Eligible candidates can apply for the AIIMS NORCET 10 registration on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in, from February 24 onwards.

The last date for the AIIMS NORCET 10 exam 2026 is March 16 by 5 pm.

AIIMS New Delhi conducts NORCET exam for the recruitment of nursing officer posts at level 07 in the pay matrix pre-revised pay band-2 of Rs 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs 4600, group B for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS as per available vacancies in the respective institutes.

AIIMS NORCET 10 Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfil the required eligibility criteria to apply for the NORCET 10 exam 2026. The AIIMS NORCET 10 eligibility criteria 2026 are given in the table below.

• Candidates who have qualified BSc Nursing or BSc Nursing Post Basic from the Indian Nursing Council and state nursing council.
• Candidates must be registered as Nurses and a Midwife with the State/ Indian Nursing Council. OR
• Candidates must have a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/ state nursing council.
• Two years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital after securing the degree.
• Must be registered as Nurses and a Midwife with the State/ Indian Nursing Council.

AIIMS NORCET 10 application fee 2026 for the general and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates is Rs 3,000, and the other category candidates have to pay Rs 2,400. Candidates belonging to persons with disabilities (PwD) are exempted from paying the application fee.
