AKTU odd semester 2021 offline exam from December 28; Students demand online exams

NEW DELHI: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow will be conducting the regular and carry over-exams of odd semester for the undergraduate and postgraduate students on December 28, 2021. The AKTU odd semester 2021 exams will be held for all semesters except for the first and third semester courses in which lateral entry takes place.

Candidates can check the AKTU date sheet 2021 on the official website, aktu.ac.in. Students will have to fill and submit the AKTU application form for the odd semester 2021 by December 16.

AKTU odd semester exam 2021 will be held in offline mode from December 28, 2021 to January 15, 2022.

As per the AKTU circular, the exam form will be available online and can be filled using ERP at erp.aktu.ac.in. Students can access ERP using their user ID and password.

The university also informed that a window to report any error or amendment in the AKTU exam schedule will be active till December 14.

It had also directed colleges to upload the attendance status of the students on AMS, so that students can fill the AKTU exam form 2021.

Meanwhile, students have taken to social media demanding online exams amid the Omicron fear. Students started flooding Twitter with requests after the AKTU released the notice on holding odd semester exams 2021 in offline mode using #AktuOnlineexam and #PostponeSemesterExam.

“It is a matter of concern. All the Education institution must be shifted to online class. Students want to feel safe. We are the future of Nation,” a student said.

Saying that over 4 lakh students will sit for the exams and pointed out to the threat if conducted offline.

“All the universities conducted online exam but not aktu why? 3 semesters in 1 year wow. You guys have changed the rules of UGC. The class starts in mid September and the exam in December,” another student wrote on Twitter tagging UP chief minister Yogi Adiyanath.
