Amity University Noida tops Southern Asia in QS Asia 2026 outbound exchange rankings; holds 21st convocation

Amity University Noida has secured the top position in Southern Asia in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026 for Outbound Exchange Students. The recognition reflects Amity’s capacity to support large-scale student mobility and its ability to integrate global learning into academic programmes.

The QS outbound exchange metric evaluates how universities facilitate structured international exposure through semester exchanges, short-duration study modules, research collaborations and internships.

The official press release states that Amity’s performance in this category is driven by its global infrastructure, multi-campus system and partnerships with institutions across various regions.

Students are able to complete academic credits through learning experiences in London, Dubai, New York, Singapore, Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi, Mauritius and Tashkent, among other locations.

“This top ranking in the QS Asia 2026 Outbound Exchange category reflects Amity University Noida’s commitment to global engagement, student mobility, and future-ready education, ensuring students learn deeply, go global, and lead confidently on the world stage,” the official press release said.

Amity University 21st convocation

Amity University Noida is holding its 21st Convocation from December 6 to 9. The four-day event, scheduled till December 9, will see the conferment of undergraduate degrees, postgraduate degrees, PhD degrees, diplomas, medals and certificates upon more than 28,000 students from engineering, management, law, humanities, biosciences, health and allied sciences, journalism, agriculture, hospitality and environmental sciences.

On the opening day, around 9,000 students received degrees and diplomas. The session was attended by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.

Honorary doctorates awarded

The university conferred honorary doctorates on Ashutosh Sharma, Lalit Verma and Pia Singh. Awards presented during the event included the Shri Baljit Shastri Awards, Best All-Rounder trophies, corporate awards and medals across categories.

Highlighting institutional data, Vice-Chancellor Balvinder Shukla said the university has an H-Index of 184, over 500 government-funded research projects, 2,646 patents filed and 35 technologies transferred to industry.
