Anant University extends admission deadline for MArch programme to September 1

Students who have secured bachelor degree in architecture with 55% marks can apply for master degree in architecture at Anant National University.
NEW DELHI: Anant National University Ahmedabad has extended the last date to apply for its master degree programme in architecture (MArch). Candidates can apply for the programme on the official website, anu.edu.in, till September 1.
Those applying for the programme should have completed bachelor degree in architecture from an institute recognised by the Council of Architecture (COA). Students belonging to SC and ST categories should have secured 50% marks while those from other categories should have 55% marks in bachelor degree.

The two-year programme of the Anant National University has been approved by the Council of Architecture (COA).
The university said the programme has been carefully crafted to provide students with foundational knowledge with practical expertise. It aims to foster an understanding of architectural history, theory, and future applications, the university added.
The curriculum of the programme is based on research-based practice, building a theoretical position in architecture and theory and criticism. The objectives of programmes are to forge cutting-edge scholarship in architectural history, philosophy, and theory while redefining practice as a collective responsibility towards society. It aims to address the challenges in the context of the country and to drive the creation of pertinent solutions that contribute to sustainable development, the university said.
It added that the highlight of the programme is its dedication to interdisciplinary collaboration. Students with an aptitude for design, research and writing are best suited for the course, the university said.
Anant National University also offers bachelor degree programmes in design and architecture, and master degree in design.
