Start NowAnna University, Tamil Nadu, has opened admissions for Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Architecture (MArch), and Master of Planning (MPlan) courses through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 scores. The last date for application submission is July 20.
Candidates can submit their online applications on the official Common Engineering Admission Procedure (CEAP) portal: ceap.annauniv.edu.
Anna University accepts GATE scores from the years 2023, 2024, and 2025 for current year admissions. Candidates can submit their best score from the last three years for the rank lists.
Anna University application process
For Anna University MTech admission registration, candidates can follow these steps:
- Click on ‘New User’
- Input a functional email ID as the user ID
- Enter candidate name, with initials at the end
- Enter date of birth in the (dd/mm/yyyy) format
- Select gender from the given options
- Enter a functional mobile number to receive SMS based communications about the admission process
- Select your GATE paper code
- Create a strong password

Anna University: GATE admissions
Through the CEAP 2025 process, candidates with a GATE score can apply for admission to university departments and regional campuses of Anna University and Annamalai University, along with government and government-aided engineering colleges and technical institutions funded by central government, which are affiliated to Anna University.
Candidates have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,000 (excluding 18% GST) on the CEAP 2025 portal. Candidates belonging to reserved categories have to pay Rs 500 (excluding 18% GST).
Before filling the Anna University MTech application form, candidates should make sure that they have soft copies of their passport-sized photograph as well as of necessary document proofs.
