AP Govt appoints interim VC at JNTU-K, Rayalaseema University and Vikrama Simhapuri University

NEW DELHI, APRIL 10: The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed interim Vice-Chancellors of three universities as the tenure of incumbent Heads of these institutions ended on April 9.

The state government is likely to initiate the process to search for the full-time VCs of the three universities soon, the three varsities are Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada; Rayalaseema University, Kurnool and Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore.

The State government through its order issued has appointed Prof. S.Ramakrishna Rao as the interim VC of JNTU-K as the term of Prof. V.S.S. Kumar ended.

The other two interim VCs are Prof. A.Rajendra Prasad appointed at Vikrama Simhapuri University by replacing Prof. V. Veeraiah. Prof. A Ramachandra Reddy has been appointed to the post of VC Rayalaseema University and he replaces. Prof. Y.Narasimhulu.
