AP PECET 2024 registration begins; eligibility, application fee, important dates

NEW DELHI: Acharya Nagarjuna University has commenced the registration for the Andhra Pradesh Physical Education Common Entrance Test (AP PECET) 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for the exam through the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The last date to submit the AP PECET 2024 application form without late fee is May 15.

AP PECET 2024 will begin from June 11 for admission to physical education programmes offered at participating institutes.

The eligibility criteria for AP PECET 2024 are as follows:

• For BPEd: Candidates should have appeared or passed three year degree examination recognized by any university in Andhra Pradesh or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto and should have completed 19 years of age on July 1, 2024.
• For DPEd: Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and should have completed 16 years of age on July 1, 2024.

In order to apply, candidates belonging to the OC category will have to pay Rs 900 while BC category candidates will have to make payment of Rs 800. SC and ST category applicants will be required to pay Rs 700.

AP PECET 2024: Important dates

AP PECET 2024 exam will include two parts – physical efficiency test and skill test for game. The exam will be held for a total of 500 marks with the physical efficiency test carrying 400 marks and skill test carrying 100. Students will have to obtain at least 30 percent marks in aggregate to pass the exam.
