NEW DELHI: Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training will conduct the Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET 2024) today. Candidates who have applied for the exam will have to mandatorily carry AP POLYCET hall ticket 2024 to the exam centre. The state-level entrance exam is held for candidates seeking admission into engineering, non-engineering diploma courses.

The AP POLYCET exam 2024 will commence at 11 am and will conclude at 1 pm. The exam will be held in 500 examination centres in 65 cities in all 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

AP POLYCET hall ticket 2024 should be downloaded from the official website, appolycet.nic.in. Applicants will have to ensure that the data and photo in the hall ticket are correct. Any tampering with the hall ticket will lead to disqualification of candidature, the board informed. As per the schedule, the AP POLYCET results will be published on May 13.

AP POLYCET exam pattern 2024

The polytechnic entrance exam will be held for two hours and will have questions from mathematics, physics and chemistry subjects of Class 10 syllabus prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh state board. The AP POLYCET question paper will have 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each.

Candidates are prohibited from carrying logarithmic tables, calculators, pagers, mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets to the examination hall. Those found using unfair means will be disqualified.

The invigilators will distribute specially designed Optical Mark Reader (OMR) response sheets to the candidates. Answers should only be marked in the answer sheet provided by the exam centre official.

Students are required to mark the correct answer in the OMR response sheet by shading in dark the appropriate circle with 2B pencil only. They should not use a ball pen to darken the correct answers.
