AP TET results 2026 out; 51% in-service, 47% regular candidates pass exam

The AP department of school education has announced the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET 2026) results today, September 13. Candidates can download the AP TET results on the official website at aptet.apcfss.in or tet2dsc.apcfss.in. Aspirants can also check their results via WhatsApp number at 9552300009.

AP TET 2026 exams were held in a computer-based test mode from August 5 to 16. AP TET exam assesses and certifies candidates to teach at the primary, middle, and secondary levels in schools across Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates will find their name, roll number, marks obtained, qualifying status, parents' names, and other details on the AP TET 2026 scorecard.

AP TET Result 2026: Pass percentage

Nara Lokesh, the minister for human resources development of Andhra Pradesh, posted on X (formerly Twitter) social media, congratulating the candidates and sharing statistics for the AP TET results 2026.

Notably, 51% of in-service candidates and 47% of candidates have qualified for the AP TET 2026 exam.

According to The Hindu report, among in-service teachers, 74,711 candidates had registered for 84,798 papers, while 72,288 appeared for 81,127 papers. Of those who appeared, 37,789 teachers qualified in 41,315 papers, recording a pass percentage of 50.93% among the papers attempted.

In comparison, 31,886 in-service teachers appeared for the AP TET–October 2025 examinations, of whom 15,239 candidates, or 47.82%, qualified.
