APSC CCE Mains 2023 registration schedule out; apply from May 18

NEW DELHI: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued the registration schedule for the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination 2023. As per the schedule, the APSC CCE 2023 mains registration window will be open from May 18.

Candidates who qualify the APSC CCE prelims exam 2023 can apply for the APSC CCE mains 2023 till June 1 through the official website at apsc.nic.in. The APSC CCE main 2023 exam will be conducted in July 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 235 vacancies in Assam Civil Services, Assam Police Services and other departments of the APSC.

Candidates from the general category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 297.20. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC), more other backward classes (MOBC), including ex-servicemen candidates will be required to pay Rs 197.20. Below poverty line (BPL), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), and female category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 47.20. The last date to make payment is June 3, 2024.

The APSC CCE Mains exam comprises a written test carrying six papers. Among these, one paper is dedicated to essay writing, while the other five papers encompass a range of general studies topics. Each paper carries a maximum of 250 marks. Candidates are allotted three hours for each paper. Upon clearing the main examination, candidates proceed to the interview stage, which holds a weightage of 275 marks.

• On the homepage, click on the APSC CCE Mains 2023 application link.

• Now, complete the registration and proceed with the application process

• Fill up the form, pay the fee, and submit the form.

• Download the form and take a printout for future reference.
