NEW DELHI: The Andhra University Visakhapatnam has declared the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) 2024 result. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the APSET 2024 result by visiting the official website, apset.net.in. The APSET 2024 exam was on April 28. A total of 30,448 candidates have appeared for the APSET 2024 examination.
Andhra University has announced the APSET 2024 result, including the cutoff scores, merit list, scorecards, and final answer keys. The APSET results 2024 PDF comprises the names of candidates selected for assistant professor or lectureship, and their roll numbers. These individuals are provisionally shortlisted, subject to meeting the eligibility requirements.
The AP SET 2024 official notice read, "6% of the candidates who appear in all the three papers should be declared qualified for Eligibility for assistant professor, lecturer. These 6% candidates would be distributed among various categories as per the reservation policy of the concerned state government."
Following the reservation policy of the Andhra Pradesh government, the percentage allocations for reservations are as follows: BC-A (7%), BC-B (10%), BC-C (1%), BC-D (7%), BC-E (4%), SC (15%), ST (6%). Additionally, 33.33% of the quota is reserved for women candidates, and 4% for candidates with disabilities (PWD), allocated vertically within each category.
The APSET 2024 cutoff is out for both category-wise and subject-wise. The APSET cut-off scores for a given subject are determined by adding up the percentages of Paper 1 and Paper 2, which correspond to the number of slots. The cutoff is available category-wise for General, SC, ST, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, and BC-E .
