Assam CEE Counselling 2024: Round 1 seat allotment out at cee.dtecounselling.in; reporting guidelines

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has announced the seat allotment for the first round of Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) counselling 2024 today, July 25. Candidates who participated in the Assam CEE counselling for admission to BTech programmes can check their allotment status on the official website, cee.dtecounselling.in.
Candidates will need to use their CEE roll number and date of birth to download the allotment order. Seat allotted candidates can report to the allotted college for document verification between July 26 and July 29. They will have to pay a token money of Rs 10,000 to the college which will be adjusted in the admission fee later.
Assam CEE Counselling 2024: What after seat allotment?
Candidates will have to follow the steps given below if they’re allotted a seat.
- Accept the allotment and upload the acceptance letter
- After accepting the allotment, download the provisional allotment letter from the portal
- After downloading the letter, report to the allotted college for document verification
- Pay the token money to the respective college
- After completion of verification, login and download the verification receipt
If no seat is allotted, the eligible candidates will automatically be considered in the next round of counselling. Moreover, if a student does not accept an allotted seat within the specified time period or does not report to the allotted college, his or her candidature will be forfeited from the entire admission process and will be omitted from the entire counselling process as well.
Assam CEE 2024 Counselling: List of documents
Seat allotted candidates are required to bring one set of photocopy of the following documents at the time of reporting:
- Assam HSLC or qualifying exam admit card for age proof
- Class 10 or its equivalent mark sheet or grade report and pass certificate of three-year diploma in engineering
- Permanent residence certificate of Assam
- Provisional allotment letter
- Part-A form
- CEE 2024 rank card
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Freedom fighter certificate, if applicable
- PwD certificate, if applicable
- EWS certificate, if applicable
- Marksheet and certificate of BSc degree holders
