KEA KCET 2024 first-round seat allotment begins; option entry window opens

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has begun the first round of seat allotment for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024. The options entry window has been opened for round 1 seat allotment. Eligible candidates can exercise the option entry process by visiting the official website, kea.kar.nic.in.

As per the official notice, candidates have been given seven days to enter their preferences for professional courses, including engineering, architecture, agriculture, veterinary, pharmacy, naturopathy, and yoga. The authority will announce the mock seat allotment results three days after the last date for option entry.

“A candidate can enter any number of options online for his choice of college and courses in the order of preference he or she desires to enter either in the helpline centres or on his or her arrangement,” the KEA information bulletin read.

After the mock results declaration, candidates will be given a three-day window to add, alter, rearrange, or delete their options. The final first-round seat allotment results will be announced three days after the option rearrangement period concludes.
