Assam HS result 2023 today at resultsassam.nic.in for over 3.2 lakh students

NEW DELHI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will declare the Assam Higher Secondary (HS) result 2023 today, June 6 at 9 am. Students who appeared for Assam Board Class 12 exams 2023 will be able to check their Assam 12th result 2023 on the official websites- ahsec.assam.gov.in and resultsassam.nic.in. State CM Himanta Biswa Sarma informed about AHSEC Class 12 result 2023 time through a tweet. "Today at 9 am, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will announce the results of the Higher Secondary Examination for the year 2023. The results can be viewed on the following website," he said.

Education minister Ranoj Pegu added that AHSEC board 12th result 2023 is being declared for a total of 3,29,901 students in 77 days. "Last year, AHSEC took 76 days to evaluate 205625 candidates. This year, it took 77 days to evaluate and give results of 329901 candidates, an excess of 124276. Best wishes to all. Wait till 9 AM," Pegu wrote in a tweet.

Students will have to enter their roll number in the result login window to check their results. Assam HS result 2023 marksheet will include name of student, roll number, name of school, subject name and code, marks obtained in the theory and the practical exams, and Assam HS result status. Students will get their original marksheets and certificates from their respective schools.

Students are required to score a minimum of 30 percent marks in a subject and in aggregate in order to pass Class 12 exams. Those students who do not feel satisfied with their marks will be able to apply for rechecking whereas those who are unable to pass will have to appear for supplementary exams.

Last year, the overall pass percentage of science stream students was 92.19%. Arts students recorded 83.48% while 87.27% commerce students passed the Assam 12th exams. A total of 20,171 students science; 5,018 commerce and 29,487 arts students passed the exams with first division last year.
