The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has postponed the declaration of the results for the stray round of NEET UG 2025 counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions under the state quota. The results for NEET UG counselling stray vacancy were initially scheduled to be declared on November 14.

The result for the stray vacancy round counselling for admission into first-year MBBS and BSD courses in government medical, dental colleges, and ESIC medical colleges has been postponed, and will now be declared only after the All India stray round result is announced.

Also, the notice does not specify a new date for the result announcement. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which conducts the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling, has recently declared the NEET UG stray vacancy seat allotments on mcc.nic.in. A total of 1129 students were allotted AIQ seats.

Of the participating candidates, 802 have been allotted MBBS seats, 270 BDS seats, while the remaining candidates have been allotted B.Sc Nursing seats in colleges across the country. Now that the MCC NEET UG final seat allotments are declared, the DME Assam is expected to publish the state quota allotments soon on the official website, dme.assam.gov.in.

Assam NEET UG Counselling 2025: Documents required

Below are the documents to be carried when reporting to the allotted institution.

  • NEET UG admit card and scorecard
  • Class 10 (Matriculation/High school) certificate and marksheet
  • Class 12 (Intermediate/Senior secondary) certificate and marksheet
  • Proof of date of birth (birth certificate or high school certificate)
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC, if applicable)
  • Domicile/Resident/Bonafide certificate (if applicable)

Candidates who participated in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test UG 2025 online stray round counselling are advised to visit the official DME website of Assam, dme.assam.gov.in for further updates and the revised date for the result declaration.
