Check NowNEW DELHI: The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has postponed the Class 10 Matric exams scheduled for March 18. MIL and English (IL) were set to be held on March 18, 2023. The decision to postpone the Class 10 MIL and English (IL) papers has been taken after the arrested accused, during interrogation, confessed to having leaked the Assamese paper as well.

Saying that the new exam date will be announced soon, education minister Ranoj Pegu said: “SEBA has informed me that as advised by CM Office Assam, the exam of all MIL subjects, including English (IL) of HSLC scheduled for 18 March, will be rescheduled. The new date will be announced tomorrow.”

The general science examination was cancelled by the SEBA on Sunday night following reports that the question paper had been leaked. In a notification on Monday, SEBA said that March 30 was the revised date for the exam. The Assam board matric (class 10) general science (C3) exam was earlier scheduled to be held on March 13.
The revised exam date for Class 10 English (C1) paper for the students of JR Higher Secondary school, Ganigram examination centre is March 28, 2023.
