BAMS cut-off for Ayurveda government colleges in Maharashtra AIQ quota seats

Students aspiring to pursue Homeopathy, a recognised branch of alternative medicine, are required to clear the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2026) to secure admission to Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) courses across recognised institutions in India. Also, a NEET rank between 53,824 and 89,354 can get admission to BAMS Government Ayurveda College Nagpur.

For round 1 admissions, the Maharashtra BAMS cutoffs at Government Ayurveda College, Nagpur, for female candidates under the general category AIQ seats opened at rank 53,824 and closed at rank 89,354.

Meanwhile, at Government Ayurveda College and Hospital, Jalgaon, the round 1 opening rank for female candidates under the general category AIQ seats stood at 69025, with admissions closing at rank 1,38,841.

Government Ayurveda College Nagpur BAMS fee structure

The fees for Government Ayurveda College Nagpur for every year is Rs 65,200. The detailed structure is shown in the table below.

Students must note that those whose income is more than Rs 8 lakh have to submit 02 separate DDs from a nationalized bank for Rs.57,400 and Rs.8,000 in favour of the Dean, Government, payable at Nagpur.

Maharashtra BAMS AIQ cutoffs for Ayurveda colleges

The last year’s Maharashtra NEET counselling AIQ cutoffs for round 1 admissions to BAMS in government colleges for general category female students across the state are shown in the table below.

The Ministry of AYUSH made NEET mandatory for admission to BAMS starting from the 2019-20 academic session. Only candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria and secure the minimum NEET BAMS cutoff will be eligible for the national-level and state-level counselling processes.

Candidates must have cleared physics, chemistry, biology, and English in Class 12 (or an equivalent exam) with a minimum of 50% marks. Those from SC and ST categories are required to secure at least 40% marks in Class 12. Additionally, candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026, to be eligible for admission to the BAMS programme.
