BHU: Ambedkar Centre of Excellence admission to free IAS coaching begins for SC students

Candidates will be able apply for the free coaching programme offered by the Dr Ambedkar Center of Excellence at BHU till June 15 at new.bhu.ac.in.
NEW DELHI: Dr Ambedkar Center of Excellence established in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) invites applications from Scheduled Caste (SC) students for free for the Union Public Services Civil Services Examinations (UPSC CSE) coaching.
The online application process begins today and candidates who wish to apply for the free coaching programme offered by the Dr Ambedkar Center of Excellence at BHU will be able to register till June 15, 2022, at new.bhu.ac.in.

The BHU informed students on Twitter, “Only Scheduled Caste candidates will appear in the Common Entrance Test, from whom no admission fee will be charged. Application related information will also be available on the University's Entrance Test Portal http://bhuonline.in.”
SC students will have access to facilities such as classrooms, a library, and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity at the Dr Ambedkar Centre of Excellence, the BHU said in a notice issued earlier.

As per the official website, “The scheme is aimed to establish Dr Ambedkar Centre for Excellence in 31 central universities, one from every state, Union Territory of India. Through the scheme, the Centre shall empower Scheduled Caste students in competitive exams by providing the best and free coaching facilities.”

The BHU had informed that the centre will also have a curriculum and preparatory material based on the changing pattern of the UPSC civil services exams.
