NEW DELHI: Narendra Kumar Rana has been appointed as the new registrar of the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB). He is currently a professor in the department of geography at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi.
Narendra Kumar Rana formally assumed office from outgoing registrar Rajiv Kumar Singh during a special ceremony held at the university's administrative building. As per the official press release, Rana is the fourth registrar appointed under the full-term criteria established since CUSB's founding in 2009.
He is an educator in the field of fluvial geomorphology and conservation of blue landscapes and has been appointed as the registrar of CUSB for a term of five years.

At the event, the vice-chancellor of CUSB, Kameshwar Nath Singh, along with the university officials, professors, and staff, were present. Welcoming Narendra Kumar Rana, Kameshwar Nath Singh expressed optimism that his tenure would contribute to the university's progress. He also praised the outgoing registrar Rajiv Kumar Singh for his five years of service.
As per the official press release, Rana is an educator in the field of fluvial geomorphology and conservation of blue landscapes and has been appointed as the registrar of CUSB for a term of five years. In a short speech after taking office, Rana stated his commitment to CUSB's comprehensive development and the university's well-being.
