In BPSC teacher result 2023 for history subject for higher secondary classes, a total of 2,490 candidates have been selected on the basis of written exam including 8 Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates. The commission said that the state government has decided that those who have obtained Bachelor of Education degree from an institution recognized by NCTE will be eligible for the post of school teacher to teach Classes 1-5.

The BPSC has issued regarding the publication of results. "In case of any dispute on the point of recognition of any degree of teacher training, the decision of the department in consultation with the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) will be final," it said.

As per the counselling schedule announced earlier, the shortlisted candidates will have to complete the document verification process on the date given below.

In another post on X, BPSC chairman Atul Prasad asked all successful candidates in BPSC TRE result 2023 to upload their documents on the BPSC portal, www.onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in. 

"We have started declaring TRE results, just to give some headstart- 1. There will be DV for all successful candidates at the time of joining 2. All successful candidates must upload, on BPSC portal, all requisite certificates duly attested by gazetted officers if not already done," he said. 

BPSC chairman Atul Prasad informed through social media that BPSC primary teacher result will not be declared today. The chairman advised such candidates not to visit the website as it s getting crashed due to heavy traffic. "TRE - results are being declared in phases starting from today. But our website is getting crashed due to a heavy rush. Since there is no PRT result today, such candidates need not visit our website. Congratulations to all the successful candidates," he said in a post on X.

The full form of BPSC TRE is Bihar Public Service Commission Teacher Recruitment Exam. The exam is conducted to recruit school teachers for Classes 1 to 5, Classes 9-10, and Classes 11-12 in state government schools.

BPSC chairman Atul Prasad had said earlier that BPSC TRE result 2023 will be declared in phases starting with the results of Classes 11-12. "TRE Results will be declared in phases starting with 11-12, 9-10 & then  Primary" he shared in a post on X. 

This year, the Bihar government brought new teacher recruitment rules to the table which resulted in disappointment amongst candidates. The new rules under the Bihar State School Teachers (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Condition) Rules, 2023 state that aspirants will have to appear for a centralised exam even if they have qualified the state teacher eligibility test.

According to BPSC notification, the general category candidates are required to secure 40% marks in the exam while OBC candidates need 36.5% in order to pass. SC, ST candidates will have to obtain 34% marks whereas female and PwD candidates will need 32% marks to qualify.

The Bihar Public Service Commission may declare the Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) result 2023 today, October 16, as per News18 Bihar. The results will only be declared for higher secondary classes, it said.
