Bihar Class 12 Board Exam: 43 students expelled during biology, philosophy, economics papers

Enrol NowNEW DELHI:The Bihar School Examination Board today conducted the Bihar Class 12 board exam 2024 biology, philosophy and economics papers today. The board said a total of 43 students were expelled for using unfair means during the exam. The board has set up 1,523 examination centers across the state to conduct the Bihar Inter board exams 2024.
The biology and philosophy exam were held in the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. The economics exam was held from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The board said 22 students were expelled in Nawada district. Nine students were expelled from examination halls in Nalanda while in Bhojpur and Arwal three students each were sent out. In Samastipur and Jehanabad two students each were expelled while one student each was caught using unfair means at Munger and Madhepura districts.
The board added that it also apprehended eight persons impersonating students. Six impersonators were caught in Nalanda district, while one each in Bhojpur and Gaya districts.
A total of 4,62,425 candidates appeared for the biology and philosophy subjects. In the second shift, from 2 pm to 05:15 pm, 86,691 students took the Economics exam.

Important guidelines
The students are advised to follow these guidelines during the Bihar Class 12 board exams:
- Students are not permitted to bring fancy pencil boxes inside the exam hall.
- Students should bring all the essential items such as Bihar 12th admit card 2024 and school ID.
- Students should reach the exam center an hour before the commencement of the exam.
- Candidates should report to the allotted room number and sit in the respective seat.
- Candidates should do all the rough work on the writing pad given by the invigilator.
