Bihar NEET PG 2025 counselling postponed after AIQ Round-3 delay

Resignation window for Round 1 and 2 admissions also deferred; revised schedule awaited from MCC
Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has postponed the Round 3 of the Bihar NEET-PG counselling, following a delay in the All India Quota (AIQ) Round-3 counselling process by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The postponement also affects the resignation window for candidates admitted through Round-1 and Round-2 of Bihar PGMAC counselling.
“Due to delay in publication of AIQ Round-3 Counselling schedule and seat allotment Result of R-3 of NEET [PG]-2025, resignation period of PGMAC-2025 from Round-1/Round-2 Counselling which is scheduled from 08.01.2026 has been postponed,” the notification read.
Registration for round-3 Bihar NEET-PG 2025 counselling has already been completed. Seat allotment will be carried out based on declared choices, reservation policies, availability of seats and other applicable criteria.
The Round-3 seat allotment result, when released, will be available in PDF format on the official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Registration and counselling-related submissions are also conducted through the same portal.
Bihar NEET-PG earlier seat allotments:
Bihar NEET-PG counselling is conducted through Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC) for admission to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses in the state of Bihar. Candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2025 and fulfil Bihar domicile requirements are eligible to participate in the state counselling process.
Earlier BCECEB had announced the revised Bihar NEET PG round 2 seat allotment 2025 after withdrawing the provisional list due to errors in the allotments. A total of 706 candidates were shortlisted in the revised allotment for the second round.
NEET PG 2025 All India Rank (AIR) 574 to 137690 were offered a PG medical seat in the Bihar NEET round 2 counselling .
