BPSSC releases Bihar Police SI mains result 2026 and category-wise cut-offs; qualified candidates to appear for PET and PST next

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced the Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (SI) mains examination 2026 result on the official website of BPSSC at bpssc.bihar.gov.in. Along with the scores, the commission has also issued the category-wise cut-off marks.
Candidates who obtained the minimum qualifying marks or higher in their respective categories have qualified for the next phase of the recruitment process. The result has been announced based on the assessment of candidates who successfully cleared the preliminary examination and met the required eligibility criteria.
The declaration of the result marks another significant milestone in the recruitment drive for 1,799 sub inspector vacancies and is based on the performance of candidates who appeared for the Bihar police SI main written examination held on May 27, 2026 under advertisement no. 05/2025.

Candidates who have cleared the mains examination will now be eligible to appear for the important stages in the selection process for the sub inspector posts i.e., physical efficiency test (PET) and physical standard test (PST). The schedule and guidelines for the physical tests will be announced separately.
