Birla Global University opens MBA Communication Management via CAT scores for working professionals, students

Candidates can apply for the BGU Entrance Test (BET 2026) through the official website at bgu.ac.in. The selection process will include a Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI).

Birla Global University (BGU) has opened applications for admission to its MBA programme in communication management. Eligible candidates can apply for the management course through the official website at forms.bgu.ac.in by June 31.

The university will admit candidates on the basis of two parameters. First if a candidate has a valid score of Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT).

On the other hand, candidates with no valid scores can appear for the BGU Entrance Test (BET). The selection process through the entrance test include a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

Moreover, candidates must have a recognised degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% for reserved categories) to be eligible for MBA admissions.

“Application submission candidates are required to submit their applications through the online application form at the link below https://forms.bgu.ac.in/mba,” according to an official statement.

Designed for working professionals, the pedagogy of the MBA in communication management includes brand communication, corporate communication management, crisis management, media engagement, and digital communication.

MBA in Communication Management

The curriculum of the MBA programme at BGU includes a series of topics as given below.

  • Integrated Communication Curriculum: Blends management fundamentals with corporate communication, branding, advertising, public relations, digital media strategy, and content management.
  • Digital-First Orientation: Emphasizes digital storytelling, use of digital tools, social media strategy, data-driven communication, and emerging technologies.
  • Industry-Aligned Learning: Include inputs from industry experts, media professionals, and communication leaders.
  • Experiential Pedagogy: Students will experience live projects, case studies, simulations, internships, and industry interactions to ensure practical exposure.
  • Career-Focused Outcomes: Prepares graduates for roles in corporate communication, brand management, media strategy, digital marketing, public affairs, and consultancy.
