BITSAT 2026 registration extended to March 19; eligibility, fees, and how to apply

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, has extended the BITSAT 2026 registration date till March 19, 2026. Students can apply online at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least five subjects (PCM/B + a language + one additional subject) and achieved a minimum of 75% overall in PCM/B, with at least 60% in each subject. Students who have retaken all Class 12 subjects are not eligible for BITSAT 2026.

Candidates need to have certain documents ready for the exam and admission process. These include the Class 10th certificate and the Class 12th mark sheet. Additionally, candidates should have their net banking or credit/debit card details available, along with a scanned copy of their photograph and signature.

BITSAT registration 2026: Application fees

The application fee depends on the candidate’s category and the number of sessions they choose. For a single session, male applicants pay Rs 3,600, while female and transgender applicants pay Rs 3,100. If applying for both sessions, the fee rises to Rs 5,600 for male candidates and Rs 4,600 for female and transgender candidates. For those appearing at the Dubai centre, the fee is Rs 7,250 for one session and Rs 9,250 for both sessions.

BITSAT registration 2026: How to apply?

To apply, applicants can follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of BITS at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.

• Fill out the necessary details and verify the email ID.

• Log in to the candidate portal and then enter all the details in the BITSAT application form.

• Upload the documents, pay the fee, and then submit the form.

• Download the BITS application form and take a printout of the same.
