Students showed a mixed reaction to the decision of the CBSE board exam 2021 postponed. Some of them are satisfied with the decision, while others requested the ministry to postpone the competitive exams as well.
As per the Live Hindustan report, the UP board examination 2021 postponed for Classes 10, 12 until May 20, 2021. The deputy chief minister, Dinesh Sharma said that the decision regarding new UP board exams dates 2021 will be taken soon and intimated to the students.
Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh boards have postponed the Class 10 and 12 exams. Students of other boards are requesting the Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, to postpone the Class 10, 12 board exams.

The Uttarakhand government has postponed the intermediate exam and cancelled the Class 10 exam of UBSE board. The decision regarding Class 12 will be made after June 1, 2021. As UK board class 10 exams are cancelled, the board may release a new assessment scheme as per which, marks will be given to high school students. So, keep checking the official website to get all UK board exam updates.
Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has cancelled the Classes 9 and 11 final exams amid rising COVID-19 cases. Students will get marks as per their performance in revision test and half-yearly exams.

The Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) will conduct the Class 10 examination from April 19 to May 2, 2021. There is no update on the postponement of the Manipur board exam 2021 Class 10.
HP Board Class 10 and 12 exams have also stand postponed for now. There is no update regarding the new exam dates. Students must keep checking this page and the official board's website for revised dates.

As per the reports of Jagran, the Chhattisgarh board has postponed the Class 10 board exams 2021 due to increasing Covid-19 cases. CGBSE Class 10th exams were scheduled to be held from April 15 to May 1, 2021.
ICSE exams were scheduled to be conducted from May 4 and June 7, 2021. As per the latest CISCE decision on board exam 2021, the Class 10 board exams is optional for students. Students can appear for these board exams when they are conducted. Else, they will get marks as per a criterion which is to be developed by the board soon.
GSEB Class 10 and 12 exams were scheduled to commenced May 10, 2021. However, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has decided to postpone the examinations. The government will review the whole situation on May 15, 2021, and will take a decision thereafter.
As per the latest update from NIOS, the exam fee payment date has been extended to April 18, 2021. Students can pay the fees online.
The board will release NIOS time table 2021 by May 20, 2021 for Class 10 and 12. These exams will be conducted in June 2021 as given in the notice of NIOS.

In the wake of COVID-19 crisis, the council has made ICSE exam 2021 optional for students. They can appear for the exams as per their choice. If they appear for exam at a later date when it is conducted then marks will be given as per performance. If they do not opt for the exam, then marks will be awarded as per ICSE Class 10 criterion which is to be developed.
CISCE has postponed the Class 12 ISC exam 2021 which were scheduled between May 4 and June 18, 2021. The final decision regarding ISC Class 12 exam 2021 will be made by the first week of June 2021.
The UP Board exams were earlier scheduled to be commenced from May 8, 2021. The exams have been postponed for now. The new UP board exam date 2021 will be announced soon by the board. Students should check the official website of UPMSP for the latest update regarding the same.
As per the reports of Times Now, HPBOSE Class 10 and 12 board exams have been postponed by the Department of Education. The exams were scheduled to start on April 13, 2021.

Ratan Lal Nath, Minister of Higher Education, School Education, Tripura, has confirmed on Twitter that the Tripura Madhyamik and HS exams 2021 will be held as per the schedule.
Due to surges in covid cases it has been decided that from 17.04.2021 all the classes of schools, colleges and universities which are under the state government (Including private Institutions) would remain closed until further order. Only the pre scheduled exams will be held.

WBBSE will conduct the Madhyamik exams from June 1 to 10, 2021. The West Bengal Class 10 exams 2021 will be held in a single shift from 11:45 am to 3 pm. There is no update on the cancellation of madhyamik exams as if for now.
Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board will conduct the SSLC exam 2021 from June 21 to July 5, 2021. S.Suresh Kumar, Minister, Primary and Secondary Education Minister of Karnataka, has confirmed on Twitter that there are no changes in the exam schedule as if for now. They will consider the situation later and take an appropriate decision then only.

For now, there is no update regarding the postponement of UK board exams 2021. As per the earlier released time table, the Uttarakhand Board exam 2021 are scheduled between May 4 and 22, 2021 for Classes 10 and 12. Check the exam schedule here.
Minister for education, Audimulapu Suresh has announced on Twitter that Class 10 exams will be held in the state as scheduled. For now, the exams are scheduled between June 7 and 16, 2021.

CISCE has announced on the official website that the council will make a decision regarding Class 10 ICSE and Class 12 ISC exams. The students will be intimated about the ICSE board exam 2021 status at the earliest.

Maharashtra Board SSC exams have been postponed due to a surge in the number of COVID-19-postive in the state. These exams will be held in June 2021, as tweeted by the state education minister, Varsha Gaikwad.

Office of Lt. Governor of J&K tweeted that Class 10 ongoing exams of JK board have been cancelled. Students will be promoted to Class 11. Their performance will be decided on the basis of their performance in internal assessment and exams which have been conducted already.
The government has postponed the second year TS intermediate board exam 2021, as reported by NDTV. The decision regarding Class 12 TS exam 2021 will be made in the first week of June, after reviewing the situation. The board will inform students at least 15 days prior to the commencement of exams. The report adds that first-year students will be promoted to the next class. Exams will be held in future, whenever possible.
As per the latest report of NDTV, TS SSC exam 2021 have been cancelled due to surge COVID-19 cases. Now, Class 10 students of Telangana board exam 2021 will be evaluated on the basis of objective criteria which will be developed by the board.
The result of the TS SSC exam 2021 will be announced accordingly. If any student is unsatisfied with the marks awarded, he/she can appear for the exam, when the situation normlizes.
On Wednesday, April 14, the Prime Minister reiterated, “The well being of the students has to be the top priority for the Government. He also stated that the Centre would keep in mind the best interests of the students and ensure that their health is taken care of at the same time their academic interests are not harmed.”

CBSE 10th marks will be calculated on the basis of an objective criterion that will be developed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. As per the Ministry of Education, "Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him/ her on this basis will be given an opportunity to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams."
"The CISCE board will take a decision regarding its ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 examinations 2021 at the earliest and will inform all concerned afterwards," said CISCE chief executive and secretary Gerry Arathoon to Careers360.
As per the TimesNowNews report, the chief minister of Goa said, “Right now, we have not thought of cancelling any board exams. We will ensure that all measures (related to COVID-19 prevention) are taken when the students appear for their exams. The Goa education department has already allowed examinations of other classes to be held online after the fresh outbreak of COVID-19 in the state.”

Chief Minister of Punjab and a Military historian, Capt. Amarinder Singh announced through his Twitter handle that the Punjab PSEB Class 5, 8 and 10 students will be promoted without examination this year. In addition to this, PSEB 12th exams 2021 have been postponed. PSEB 12th board exams 2021 will be conducted later once the COVID-19 situation normalises. This decision has been taken by the minister to safeguard the health of the students amid the COVID-19 surge.
As per the Times of India report, the members of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) met on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, to discuss the possibility of postponing the Gujarat board exams 2021 for Classes 10 and 12. According to the TOI report, sources in the state education board said, “The government may consider delaying the exam by 2-3 weeks but a final decision on it will be announced later.”
Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced on Twitter on April 12, 2021, that the Class 10, 12 exams have been postponed due to a spike in COVID-19 cases. The state government has decided that the Maharashtra 12th exams will be held at the end of May, whereas, Class 12 exams will be conducted in June 2021.

Directorate of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Haryana has announced through their Twitter handle that the Haryana board Class 10 exams have been cancelled. On the other hand, Class 12 exams have been postponed for now. In addition to this, the evaluation of Class 10 students will be done as per internal assessment.

The Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Audimulapu Suresh, has announced on Twitter that the AP 10th class board exam 2021 and Class 12 exams will be conducted as per the board exam date sheet 2021. The Andhra Pradesh state government has taken all the necessary precautions to avoid the risk of COVID-19. 10th board exam 2021 date will fall between June 7 to 16, 2021. On the other hand, 12th board exam will be conducted from May 6 to 23, 2021.
Check the temperature of the student at the entry point of the exam centre.
Wearing masks is mandatory.
Hand sanitiser must be provided or brought by all the students.
Seating in exam centres should be as per the specifications mentioned in the COVID-19 protocol.
No gathering of students/ others before or after exams within or outside the premises of examination centres.
The centre should keep one hall/ classroom reserved, in case of any eventuality.
Meghalaya board has issued the COVID-19 protocols for safeguarding the health of the students. It is mandatory for all the respective exam centres to follow the protocols.

After the cancellation of the CBSE 10th board exams, Karnataka SSLC students were expecting that their exams will be cancelled too. However, Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar have announced on Twitter on Wednesday that SSLC Karnataka exams will be conducted as scheduled from June 21, 2021.
