As per AP Inter revised marking scheme, students will be awarded one mark for each correct response. There will not be any negative marking for wrong answers. BIEAP has plans to introduce 1-mark questions, MCQs, fill-in-the-blanks, and one word answers. The essay-type questions will see score cut from 8 marks to 5 or 6 marks. 

Starting from the 2025-26 academic session, the Andhra Pradesh education department has decided to cancel the AP Intermediate first year exams in order to reduce academic pressure on students, as per a Times Now report. The Inter colleges will conduct Class 11 exams on their level and public exams will take place only after second year.

AP Inter result 2025 will be declared tomorrow, April 12, at 11 am on the official website, resultsbie.ap.gov.in, announced cabinet minister Lokesh Nara in a post on X. "Kindly note that the results for the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) 2025 for 1st and 2nd-year students will be available on 12th April, 2025 from 11 AM onwards! Students can check their results online at https://resultsbie.ap.gov.in. Additionally, results can be accessed by sending a "Hi" message to the Mana Mitra WhatsApp number at 9552300009 for added convenience. Wishing all the students the very best! As per the revised plan, students, who appeared in the AP Intermediate for 1st and 2nd year 2025, will be awarded one mark each for correct response, while no marks will be deducted for negative response. The introduction of 1-mark questions, including multiple-choice questions (MCQs), fill-in-the-blanks, and one-word answers, is proposed for the Board examination. Concurrently, the weightage of Essay-type questions will be reduced from 8 marks to 5 or 6 marks.

The total marks for each stream differ. Humanities will have 400 marks for theory and 100 marks for internal assessments. MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) will have 380 marks for theory and 120 marks for internal/practical assessments. BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) will have 370 marks for theory and 130 marks for internal/practical assessments.

The marking scheme as per the revised plan for the AP Intermediate 1st and 2nd year results 2025 is as follows:

• Languages and core Humanities subjects (Civics, Commerce, History, Economics): Theory papers will constitute 80 marks, while internal assessments (Project Work/Research Activity) will account for the remaining 20 marks.

Around 4 lakh students appeared for the AP Inter 1st and 2nd year exams 2025, which was conducted from March 1 to 20.

Students, who appeared for the AP Inter 2025 exams for 1st and 2nd year, will also get the results update on their WhatsApp. The AP government has launched a number of services offered under its WhatsApp Governance platform, ' Mana Mitra' to 200, as reported by the Indian Express. 

Students, who appeared for the AP Intermediate public examination 2025, will also be able to check their AP Inter results 2025 for 1st and 2nd year through DigiLocker.

Students, who will not be able to clear the AP Inter 2025 exams, will be able to appear for the supplementary examination, for which the details will be announced after the declaration of the main results.

In January, the Andhra Pradesh board said that a subject committee for each of the 14 subjects was established on October 1, 2025, consisting university professors, degree college lecturers, and junior lectures. The changes made in the syllabus were as follows:

Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology):

• 1st Year: Revised textbooks as per NCERT from AY 2025-26.
• 2nd Year: Reduced the syllabus for AY 2025-26 as per NCERT Syllabus; full NCERT-based revision by AY 2026-27.

Arts & Humanities (Civics, Economics, History, Commerce):

• 1st Year: Revised textbooks as per BIE syllabus from AY 2025-26.
• 2nd Year: No changes for AY 2025-26; Revised textbooks by AY 2026-27.

Languages (English, Telugu, Hindi Sanskrit, Urdu):

• 1st Year: New textbooks from AY 2025-26.
• 2nd Year: No changes for AY 2025-26; revised textbooks by AY 2026-27.

Recently, the Andhra Pradesh board of Intermediate Education (BIEAP) has proposed academic changes in the AP Inter 2025 exams. As per the reforms, the board has proposed to make the second language subject as an elective and introduce additional subjects to provide more options for students. 

Students will be able to check their marks for the AP Intermediate 1st and 2nd year exams 2025, by visiting the official websites at bie.ap.gov.in and resultsbie.ap.gov.in. Login details to check the AP Inter results 2025 includes roll number and date of birth. 

The AP board conducted the AP Intermediate 1st year exams 2025 from March 1 to 19, while the 2nd year tests were held from March 3 to 20.

The Andhra Pradesh board has not announced the AP Inter results 2025 release date. However, as per the previous years' trends, the board exam results will be declared in the month of April. 

Students, who appeared for the AP 1st and 2nd year exams 2025, will be able to check their score by using their login details such as roll number and date of birth through the official link.
