Board Exam 2024: Mizoram, Goa Class 12 board exam 2024 begin today

NEW DELHI: The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) and Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will conduct the Class 12 board exams 2024 from today. The Mizoram board will hold the English exam today from 10 am to 1 PM. candidates will be allowed entry in the exam hall on the production of MBSE HSSLC exam 2024 and GBSHSE Class 12 board exam admit cards and the school identity cards.

As per the schedule, the Mizoram board Class 12 exams 2024 will conclude on March 28. The Goa board Class 12 theory exams 2024 will be held till March 18. The Goa board will conduct the exams from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm while Mizoram board Class 12 exams will be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm.

Passing marks

Students obtaining 75% and above of the total marks will pass with ‘distinction. For ‘first division’, candidates will have to get 60% to 74% of the total marks. Those getting 50% to 59% of the total marks will get ‘second division. Students will have to get 33% to 49% of the total marks for third division.

Students will have to get at least 33% of the aggregate marks (theory plus practical to clear the exam). A candidate will be required to pass separately in theory and practical papers.

Class 12 board Exams 2024: Instructions

Candidates will have to follow these norms during the Mizoram Class 12 board exams:

  • Students will have to arrive at the exam centre 30 minutes before the exam’s starting time
  • They will have to bring their admit card, school ID card, and other important documents
  • The exam duration for each paper will be three hours, and an additional 15 minutes will be given for reading the question paper.
  • No electronic devices such as a phone, watch, calculator, etc will be allowed in the examination hall
  • Students will have to bring necessary stationery items such as black/blue pens, pencils, erasers, etc with them.
