NEW DELHI: Several boards including Bihar, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Nagaland have announced board exam dates 2024. Tamil Nadu education department has postponed the TN Class 12 half-yearly exams 2024 due to Cyclone Michaung. Exams scheduled on December 7 and 8 has been rescheduled to December 14 and 20.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) recently announced Class 10, 12 board exam time table 2024. Bihar board Inter, Matric theory exams will be held in February 2024 whereas practicals are scheduled for January.
Karnataka board has also released board exam time table 2024. Karnataka SSLC exams 2024 and Karnataka 2nd PUC exams 2024 will be held from March 2 to March 22. Rajasthan board recently announced board exam date 2024 for Classes 10, 12 and exams are scheduled from February 15.
Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will be holding board exams 2024 Class 10, 12 from February 6 to 26. Unlike most boards, Tamil Nadu board will hold the exams in the month of March. As per TN 10th, 12th public exam time table 2024, the exams will be held from March 26. On the other hand, Maharashtra board will start early with HSC board exams 2024 scheduled from February 21 whereas SSC or Class 10 exams will begin from March.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had earlier shared that Class 10, 12 board exams 2024 will start from February 15 next year. UP board had said practicals will be held from January 25 to February 9. CBSE and UP board are yet to release the board exam date sheet 2024.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has issued the UP board date sheet 2024 for Class 10, 12. According to the UP board exam time table 2024, the exams will be held from February 22 to March 9.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: Calculation of marks
If Class 12 students has offered more than 5 subjects, the decision to determine the best 5 subjects may be taken by the admitting institution, the CBSE Board said. "It informed that the Board does not calculate, declare or inform percentage of marks. If the percentage of marks is required for higher education or in employment," it said.

Board Exam 2024: NBSE instructs schools to train students to fill OMR sheet
The Nagaland board has instructed schools to train Class 10 and Class 12 students how to fill the front page of the answer booklets. Students will have to use black or blue point pen to mark the roll number in the OMR sheet. Usage of pencil is prohibited.
