BPSC 72nd preliminary examination to be held in a single shift between 12 noon and 2 pm; admit cards soon.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced Integrated 72nd Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination date. The examination will be held on July 26, from 12 noon to 2 pm at various centres across districts in Bihar. The Commission will announce the admit card release, examination centres and other candidate-related instructions on its official website soon.
BPSC conducts Integrated 72nd Combined Competitive Examination to recruit eligible candidates for various administrative and state government services in state. Registered candidates are advised to keep an eye on official BPSC website for the latest updates.

On June 19, the Commission declared the results of the 70th Combined Competitive Examination and 2,027 candidates were shortlisted. Shraddha Pandey from Uttar Pradesh secured the first rank, while Shashank Pandey and Aksh Vijoy stood second and third, respectively. Four women featured among the top 10, and women accounted for 45 of the top 100 ranks.
BPSC Secretary Satya Prakash Sharma shared that a total of 4.83 lakh candidates applied online and 3,28,990 appeared for the examination held on December 13, 2024, at 911 centres across 37 districts. Considering irregularities at the Bapu Examination Complex in Patna, Commission re-conducted the exam for those who appeared in that centre.
